Job Description

Responsibilities
  • To make sure KPIs are met, set and measure KPIs and take appropriate corrective action when needed.
  • Focus on performance evaluation and monitoring to track monthly results versus monthly objectives
  • Performance tracking and subordinate training are prioritized
  • Continuously create and improve cost-effective methods.
  • Choose, put into practice, and monitor key performance indicators and the systems that measure and monitor performance in relation to them.
  • Create and carry out yearly work plans that are organized to specify important objectives and the actions performed to attain those objectives.
  • Make certain that all project sites strictly adhere to proper farming practices.
  • Keep thorough records of every important project input and output indicator.
  • To guarantee tight adherence to best practices, make sure that all sites are appropriately maintained and that the necessary resources are allotted.
  • Make arrangements for the laboratory to examine floral samples, and update documentation with test results as needed.
  • Determine and put into practice program enhancements and alterations.
  • Create program budgets and take all required steps to keep them within limits.
  • As needed, carry out administrative duties.
  • Provide thorough and accurate operational reports and research on a timely manner.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
  • Agricultural bachelor's degree or a closely related degree.
  • Three years minimum of experience managing projects related to community development or providing extension services.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and measure KPIs and a history of goal achievement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to mentor properly and oversee subordinates.
  • a track record of creating and overseeing budgets while adhering to financial restrictions.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data management, with a track record of prompt report submission and accurate record keeping.
  • Proficiency in biosecurity and integrated pest management (IPM) is a plus.
  • Capacity to operate both individually and jointly in a fast-moving, dynamic setting.
  • Flexibility in visiting project locations and participating in stakeholder gatherings as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizing abilities.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
